Hartpury University specialises in animals, agriculture, equine, sport and veterinary nursing degrees and is rated Gold by Teaching Excellence Framework (2018), so students can be confident they will receive high-quality teaching. Hartpury is home to rider performance, equine and canine therapy centres, advanced sports technology, semi-professional athletes, a commercial farm, a veterinary nursing centre, and over 70 domestic and exotic animal species. Hartpury University has nine businesses on site and excellent relationships with over 2,000 brands around the world, meaning students have plenty of opportunities to gain valuable work experience. Class sizes are small, allowing for students to get the support needed to succeed. Hartpury has a hands-on approach to teaching and offers plenty of opportunities to apply theory to practice outside the classroom.
